![]() The data obtained were analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation statistics. Cronbachalpha was used to determine the reliability coefficient which yielded 0.92. Questionnaire adapted from technology acceptance model was used to collect data. The study was a developmental research involving training of a group of senior secondary school one (SS1) students and determining their perceptions about GeoGebra. Four research hypotheses were generated and tested at 0.05 alpha level of significance. Other variables investigated includes students' attitude and behavioural intentions towards the usage of GeoGebra. ![]() The focus was on ease of use and usefulness of GeoGebra instructional package. This study investigated the perceptions of secondary school students towards the use of GeoGebra instructional package in learning linear equations. In addition, students took applied final exam in computer labs. At the end of the study, in order to detect opinions of student related to education using MOODLE environment, MOODLE Evaluation Questionnaire by Aydın (2011) was conducted developed. At the beginning of the study, Computer Aided Math Education Questionnaire developed by Yenilmez and Sarıer (2007) was conducted in order to evaluate attitude of students towards computer aided math education. During this study, assignments delivered weekly are evaluated by researchers. GSP education using MOODLE environment consists of 6 weeks. The scope of this study consists of 30 formation teachers in Ege University Education Faculty in 2011-2012 Spring Semesters. ![]() The aim of this study is to teach candidate math teachers how to use GSP software using MOODLE environment and investigate attitude of math candidate teachers towards using computer in their lessons. In order students to use this software in geometry lessons, math teachers initially should learn how to use and integrate it into their lessons. In addition, this software helps teachers enrich geometry lessons by providing visualization and make lessons more effective. By the help of The Geometer's Sketchpad (GSP), which is computer aided education software students can envision geometric shapes, change attributes of shapes, detect geometric relationships and achieve deduction of concepts. Materials used in traditional geometry education like blackboard, pen, paper and ruler have slightly little contribution on the vision of students related to geometric shapes and their attributes. The use of Geometer's Sketchpad in mathematics classroom has positive effect on the students' mathematics achievement and attitude towards the learning of geometry and some mathematics topics. This study indicates that the result of experimental group had a significant mean difference compared to the control group on post-test. Both groups took the same pre-test and post-test. ![]() The control group used only the textbooks and they were learnt by usual learning method. In the study, the experimental groups used Geometer's Sketchpad-based topics and worksheets and for each student there is an access computer/plasma equipped with the Sketchpad software. A survey questionnaire was used to measure students' perception on the usage of Geometer's Sketchpad in the learning of Geometry and some other topics of mathematics. Two instruments were used to gather information:-the students' mathematics achievement and attitudes/ perception of students toward learning Mathematics. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design using intact group of students from two classes in the indicated school. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using the Geometer's Sketchpad software on the academic achievement of students in mathematics among grade nine students of Bedele Secondary and preparatory school. ![]()
